The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in a Nutshell:

Breath of the Wild is an action adventure game with puzzles that takes place in a gigantic fantasy world where you can go anywhere and play however you want.

Why The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Is So Much Fun:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the highest rated game for the Nintendo Switch and for good reason.

I have played over 200 hours of this action adventure fantasy game and I am nowhere near being finished.

Now, don’t be afraid if that amount of time seems daunting. Just finishing the main game can take anywhere between 30 to 50 hours, a significantly shorter time investment.

Breath of the Wild caters to all players whether you want to stay on the main road and just finish the story or adventure off the beaten path to complete every puzzle and find all of the collectibles.

I highly recommend this game because it is pure fun and allows the player to take part in an array of activities that prevent Breath of the Wild from ever getting boring.

Some–but not all–activities include combat, adventuring, puzzle solving, archery, horseback riding, mountain climbing, shield surfing, epic boss battles, and collecting 900 seeds littered throughout the vast game world.

It is hard to get bored with Breath of the Wild. I know I haven’t.

Although it does not support multiplayer, I have played nearly all 200 plus hours of this game alongside my spouse. Sometimes, I play while she coaches me and sometimes I hand off the controller and do the coaching myself.

I have had a blast playing this epic adventure game, and I believe you can, too.

Do yourself a huge favor and pick up Breath of the Wild for your Nintendo Switch.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in a Nutshell:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a Super Mario themed racing game in which players and computer controlled opponents race around a track to see who can finish first while utilizing items, wits, and personal skill.

Why Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is So Much Fun?

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the perfect party game that lasts for hours. It is a racing game that encourages friendly fun competition. There are even offensive and defensive items sprawled across the courses for players to use and get ahead. Let the wacky racing begin!

The game is packed with content and caters to a wide range of skilled players from beginners to advanced Mario Kart racers, allowing everyone to have fun while racing.

I’ve had the pleasure of playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with skilled players better than me and players not as skilled as me, and I had just as much fun with both groups of friends.

I’ve also played online numerous times and can vouch for the play experience. As long as you have a reliable internet connection, playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online feels no different than playing with friends and family on the couch.

If you rather play alone, a single player option is also available, too.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe also supports many difficulty settings, giving players a progression path when and if they ever want a challenge.

Finally, players can choose over from over 40 characters to race as and select over 45 courses to race on across single player, multiplayer, and online modes.

I highly recommended this game if you are looking to have a blast playing casually with friends and family or if you are looking for a challenge by yourself and online.

Race to the finish line and race for fun with what I consider to be one of the best, if no the best, Mario Kart games ever made.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a party fighting game that tasks the player to win battles by hitting opponents off of the stage while utilizing items, offensive and defensive mechanics, and skill.

Mario Joins Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Why Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is so Much Fun:

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the ultimate single player and multiplayer game, pun intended.

Players choose a character from a roster of over 70, choose a stage from over 100, and then duke it out until there is a winner. Simple enough for beginners and challenging enough for those who like competitive play.

The game is highly customizable, too, allowing newbies and veterans to tweak everything to their liking from battle time to controller settings.

Don’t like how something feels?

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate most likely has a solution to your problem.

Change the difficulty if it is too easy or lower it if it is too hard. Turn on items if you like the craziness that items brings to the battles or turn them off if you want to solely rely on your skills and reflexes to win.

The high customization and the wealth of content make this a really, really, great game. Battles never feel the same as each one is unique based on a myriad of factors from player skill to the stage that was selected.

Playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate always feels fresh. If you are tired of playing against your friends or family, play solo, or hop online to play against strangers to get better, or play the adventure mode for a unique twist. Collect music, character artwork, and costumes.

Or, do none of that, find a mode that is fun for you, and just play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate the way you want.

I highly recommend this game for anyone looking to play for minutes or for hours, for causal gamers to competitive tournament players looking for a challenge, and for those looking for an action oriented game for their next game night.

Your fun will be had for days.
