ATTENTION: You must speak to Orville at your island’s airport in order to collect a May Day Ticket and travel to the event island.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons May Day Event
May Day is a special event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch.
- Players must first collect a ticket to travel to a unique island
- The Island is set up like a maze and tasks players with traversing the fun maze by utilizing tools and items provided
Honestly, this is one of the most fun special events all year long and you can only take part in it once per year.
Don’t miss out on it!

May Day 2020 rewards included multiple Bell vouchers located around the island as well as a special furniture item from Rover, one of Animal Crossing’s fan favorite characters.

What is International Museum Day?
International Museum Day is a special event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch that celebrates museums.
- Players must head to their museum and talk to Blathers to take part.
- Stamp booths will be set up in various parts of the museum in each exhibit: bugs, fossils, fish, and for the first time, art.
- You gain stamps on your stamp card by having donated specific items to the museum. The stamp cards will tell you what is required.
- After obtaining three stamps, talk to Blathers to receive your reward.
The event is fun and can be repeated each day the event lasts.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Stamp Rally Rewards
Stamp rally rewards include specials plaques that can be hung on the walls of your house (and you can obtain these rewards each day you take part in the stamp rally).
Each plaque represents the exhibit it was collected from by having a bug, fossil, or fish sculpture attached to the plaque.
The art plaque is still a mystery at this time. Take part in the event to find out how that looks like!
Returning Players Rejoice
Nintendo promises this year’s International Museum Day stamp rally will also add stamp collecting to the art exhibit giving returning players something new to do.

This update will add access to various events and items that will be made available from May through July.

Let’s go over everything that happened in Capcom’s Monster Hunter Digital Event.
A) New Downloadable Content (DLC) Available
New downloadable content (DLC) has been announced for Monster Hunter Rise during the Monster Hunter Digital Event (April 2021).
This extra content includes new hairstyles, poses, stickers, and more.
Now, let’s go over all the new DLC you can expect to find on the Nintendo eShop when the Monster Hunter Rise 2.0 update becomes available April 27th/28th.
The new Monster Hunter Rise DLC is paid content which means you must purchase the extra voices, hairstyles, and so on separately from the base Monster Hunter Rise (Deluxe) game.
Luckily, the extra content is entirely cosmetic and does not affect gameplay.
But if you do want to purchase all of the new Monster Hunter Rise DLC for April 2021, a value bundle pack will be made available that combines all individual items in one download.
- This bundle is aptly called the Monster Hunter Rise DLC Pack 2. It costs $29.99 USD.

B) Players Can Change Genders In Monster Hunter Rise
Character Edit Vouchers allow players to alter character appearance settings that aren’t usually editable after a hunter is created.
These appearance options that are editable with the Character Edit Vouchers include the hunter’s
- Gender
- Skin color
ATTENTION: Players can still tweak the hairstyle, clothing, makeup, voice, eyebrow, and facial hair of their hunter WITHOUT the Character Edit Vouchers by going to the Item Box and selecting Appearance Settings > Change Appearance.
Are The Vouchers Free?
Capcom is offering one free Character Edit Voucher on the Nintendo eShop.
Additional Character Edit Vouchers can be purchased in packs of 1, 2, or 3 vouchers.
C) Over 50 Content Features Added To Monster Hunter Rise
The following is a list of changes, fixes, and additions to Monster Hunter Rise coming with the Monster Hunter Rise version 2.0 update releasing April 27/28th, 2021.

D) 5 New Monster Added To Monster Hunter Rise
Five new dangerous monsters are being added to Monster Hunter Rise.
Three are returning beasts while two are Apex (stronger, enraged version) of established monsters.
Chameleos, Kushala Daora, and Teostra are all returning monsters while Apex Diablos and Apex Rathalos are tougher versions of their non-Apex counterparts.
These are all challenging creatures meant for late game affair, so upgrade your armor and weapons before tackling any of these fearsome foes.
By the way, a sixth new monster returns from Monster Hunter World, but you can have a blast with it and find out by playing the game. Surprises await.

7) Super Mario Party Online Update

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles collects two titles previously released solely in Japan: The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve.
These are visual novel, courtroom experiences that focus on reading dialogue and exploring scenes for clues to win court cases as the story unfolds.
Based on my experience with other games in the series, the gameplay and story are tons of fun!
Speaking of, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is set 100 years before Capcom’s other critically acclaimed court room series, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

Both Famicom Detective Club games are remastered, modern ports of games released for the Famicom (the Japanese name for the Nintendo Entertainment System) nearly 30 years ago.
The animation and production values in these game are amazing and must be seen to be believed (watch the overview trailer below).
These titles are visual novels and focus on detective work such as searching environments for clues and talking to people in order to solve the mystery in each game.
Fans of the Phoenix Wright court room visual novels, and visual novel fans along with avid readers, will want to check out the Famicom Detective series.
Famicom Detective Club Price
Each Famicom Detective Club game will retail for $34.99 USD and will be made available for digital download from the Nintendo Switch eShop on May 14th, 2021 (continue reading and find out how to save on both titles).
