Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch has been updated to allow a majority of the game to be played online. Rejoice!

ATTTENTION: The free Super Mario Party online update is available now. An internet connection is required to download the update.


The Online Update

The Super Mario Party 1.1.0 version update adds online features to a host of the game’s modes.

You can now play many modes online including

  • board game mode
  • 70 minigames
  • partner party mode (2 vs 2)

Fans have been clamoring for an online mode since Super Mario Party released and it’s finally here!

The Tweet

Nintendo Tweeted the official announcement on April 27th, 2021.

The company also released a short video detailing the update as well. This 35 second video is short and to the point and looks like a lot of fun.

Enjoy Super Mario Party like never before. I still need to pick this game up!
