In order to play Super Nintendo Games on the Nintendo Switch, you must be a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber and download the Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online app from the Nintendo Switch eShop store. Then, open the software and start playing an ever growing library of 16-bit, retro classics anywhere.
This is my childhood dream come true, but you aren’t here to hear about me gush over these games: You want to know what games are available for the service at launch.
You will be happy to hear that there are 20 stellar classics for you to choose from, offering hundreds of hours of gameplay altogether.
This list of games includes some of the best games of all time. From classics such as Super Metroid and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past to niche role playing games such as Breath of Fire 1, there is something here for everyone.
Really, the list of Super Nintendo Games includes puzzle, brawling, racing, role playing, adventure, and platforming games among other genres. There is so much fun to be had here from day one, it’s simply nuts!

The Nintendo Switch Online membership allows Nintendo Switch owners to play their favorite online enabled games online with friends and strangers around the world.
The membership also includes other membership-only perks such as clouds saves (the ability to access save files no matter what Nintendo Switch you are playing on as long as you have stable internet connection) as well as a treasure trove of Nintendo and Super Nintendo Entertainment system games.
There are two options for the Nintendo Switch membership–individual and a family plan–and both will provide you these membership perks.
