Capcom released a new game trailer on Nintendo’s YouTube channel for The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, two Japan-only titles that originally released for the Nintendo 3DS and are now coming to the West in 2021.
The Games
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles collects two titles previously released solely in Japan: The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve.
These are visual novel, courtroom experiences that focus on reading dialogue and exploring scenes for clues to win court cases as the story unfolds.
Based on my experience with other games in the series, the gameplay and story are tons of fun!
Speaking of, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is set 100 years before Capcom’s other critically acclaimed court room series, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
Check out the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy already released on the Nintendo Switch at this Nintendo product page link if you think you’re interested.
The Release Date
This two-pack collection will be released for Nintendo Switch on July 27th, 2021.
The Game Tweet
Capcom’s official Ace Attorney Twitter announced the game on April 21st, 2021.
The tweet includes a 6 minute plus video explaining the game from the director of the game, Shu Takumi.
You can watch the director’s video on Ace Attorney’s official YouTube channel if you prefer.
