Today, I’m detailing all announcements from the Nintendo Direct gaming showcase from June 18, 2024.
The Nintendo Direct presentation on June 18, 2024 included exciting game announcements and fun surprises. Games such as Mario & Luigi : Brothership, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Dragon Quest 1/2/3 HD-2D Remakes, and so much more were shown in spectacular fashion.
The 40-minute gaming showcase delved deep into Nintendo Switch games coming in the second half of 2024 and it didn’t disappoint.

Nintendo Direct 6.18.2024: Everything Announced
33 exciting new game announcements were made during the Nintendo Direct, from a new Mario & Luigi role playing game to new Metroid Prime 4 information.
Nintendo announced the June 18, 2024 Nintendo Direct on June 17, 2024 via social media. The gaming company detailed the event as a 40-minute presentation focusing on Nintendo Switch games releasing in the second half of 2024.
Dozens of exciting games were revealed in this Nintendo Direct
The company, although, did announce many games releasing for Nintendo Switch in 2025.
Furthermore, Nintendo specified that Nintendo Switch’s successor system will not be mentioned during the presentation in order to set expectations of what to expect.
