What Is WitchSpring R?
WitchSpring R is an anime action role playing adventure about a loving witch named Pieberry who hides in a forest to protect herself from warriors tasked with slaying her.
Gameplay focuses on crafting items, training Pieberry to get stronger, battling enemies, and dodging warriors on witch hunts in a story-driven experience.
I am really loving this game’s premise.
It is a very touching–yet adorable–tale about a witch named Pieberry (she named herself that due to her love of pie and strawberries).
Pieberry is a nice witch who wants to live a happy life.
Yet, the “good” warriors of the realm are tasked with slaying witches. Bad warriors! Leave Pieberry alone, I say.
Plus, the game has everything a role playing game fan could want: a fantasy setting, cool-looking characters, awesome monsters, and dragons.
Yup, dragons.
WitchSpring R looks amazing and I look forward to playing it; I hope you do, too.

What Is Can of Wormholes?
Can of Wormholes is an oddball puzzle game about becoming a sentient tin can with worms inside in which players are tasked with solving puzzles.
Gameplay focuses on interacting with numerous objects to solve puzzles in over 100 levels.
That is a lot of levels. Rejoice, puzzle fans!
Personally, I like Can of Wormholes’ simple visuals and minimalist user interface.
The simplistic visuals really put the spotlight on the game’s puzzle mechanics of moving a worm around to push and interact with objects.
Also, I think it is cool the developers focused on accessibility features by making the game colorblind and hearing impaired friendly, implementing infinite restarts, and including a hint system to help players solve puzzles.
As a puzzle game fan, I am looking forward to this wacky world of worms, cans, and puzzles.

The hoverboard is also utilized to perform vicious attacks on twisted toys brought to life.
Really, this looks like a combination of the fast-paced Sonic the Hedgehog games and the mature action of the Bayonetta games.
And I am loving what I am seeing.
Keep in mind this game is rated Mature because it includes blood, gore, strong language, and violence.

Fragrant Story and Papaya’s Path is definitely a relatively inexpensive strategy game fans of tactical combat series (such as Fire Emblem and Disgaea) should consider playing.

What Is Monster Jam Showdown?
Monster Jam Showdown is a single and multiplayer monster truck racing game that can be played online or offline.
Players select a truck and then race around different courses against other players (real or computer controlled).
The game’s launch trailer gave me Excite Truck vibes while watching which is a great feeling to have.
In case you do not know, Excite Truck was an arcade racing game by Nintendo that released November 19, 2006 for Nintendo Wii. It was the first Wii game I purchased and one of my favorite games on the system.
Monster Jam Showdown may just satisfy that big air, big truck, big trick gameplay craving while being a fun game to play.

What Is Bakeru?
Bakeru is a single-player 3D action game about a Tanuki (a Japanese raccoon dog) disguised as a boy tasked with defeating evil spirits by utilizing a drum.
Gameplay is action-packed exploration and focuses on close combat through small to medium sized levels.
Players will also be able to transform into Japanese inspired fairy tale heroes which adds new gameplay and combat mechanics.
Really, Bakeru reminds me of 3D Super Mario and Kirby games.
Each of these series involved exploring open areas, combat, and character transformations that were quite enjoyable.
Bakeru is in good company and looks just as fun to play. It is a well polished, modernized version of the 3D action genre.
And I am beyond excited this game is now available.

My New Nintendo Switch Games Recommendations

Why I Suggest WitchSpring R
I recommend WitchSpring R due to its polished fantasy visuals and host of role playing features.
Plus, the story seems really touching and enjoyable.
I really want to stop the “good” warriors from slaying the “evil” witch of the forest.
Good and evil are just a matter of perspective in this fantasy world, after all.
The game also has received glowing reviews since its release on other consoles which is more the reason I think role playing fans should try this gem.

Nintendo usually does not develop mature games but Emio is a well-polished, high production outlier that focuses on story, mystery, and narrative progression.
Emio might not be for everyone as the gameplay heavily focuses on reading text in what could be considered a modern point-and-click adventure.
But what it does, it does well.
Once again, try out Emio’s free demo by downloading it from the Nintendo Switch eShop digital store to see if the game is right for you.
If you like it, buy it. The demo’s save file transfers over so you keep all the progress you have made. Cool!
