What Is Disney Gargoyles Remastered?

Disney’s Gargoyle Remastered follows the tale of Goliath and his gargoyle brethren in a 2D adventure game that includes combat, exploration, and traversal.

This is a single player game that has an average playtime of 4 or 5 hours to beat.

Additionally, switching between old and new graphics can also be done which is a nice feature.

Disney Gargoyles Remastered Rewind Function

Disney Gargoyles Remastered also includes a Rewind function.

This feature allows players to redo sections of gameplay by rewinding time.

The character will reverse a few seconds, putting you back where you were.

This is great for redoing mistimed jumps, unfavorable enemy encounters, and tough boss fights.

Disney Gargoyles Remastered Nostalgia

My take: I loved watching Disney’s Gargoyles television show with my brothers growing up.

The music and characters are very memorable, making the show one of my favorite Disney properties of all time.

I, however, did not own a Sega Genesis and sadly missed out on the original Disney Gargoyles game released on Sega’s 1990 console.

Therefore, as a child of the 1990s, Disney Gargoyles Remastered has my attention.

The modern features and updated look makes the game stand out and I would love to play it.
