Nintendo Videos I Recommend You Watch
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Championship 2024, Eternights, and Tetris Forever are the three game videos I highly suggest you watch. These are my favorite choices from this batch of gaming videos if you are limited for time.
1) Super Smash Bros. Championship 2024
This long-form tournament video is exciting to watch but may have to be broken up into chunks of viewing if your time is limited.
I highly recommend if you are interested (or interested in learning about) competitive gameplay, specifically Super Smash Bros. competitive gaming.
2) Eternight
Eternight’s trailer is a satisfying, all-encompassing look at a highly polished anime action game in which the world has ended but a group of friends must do their all to save it.
I think this is the most narrative, epic trailer of the entire batch. Two thumbs up from me!
3) Tetris Forever
Tetris Forever’s trailer is great for fans of the beloved falling drop puzzle game like myself.
It gave a solid look at some of the games included in the anniversary collection along with a sneak peak at the much anticipated 90-minute documentary.
1) Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Championship 2024

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Championship 2024 tournament is 2h 17min in length. The championship video consisted of quarterfinals, semifinals, finals, and grand finals for both winner and loser brackets.
What I Thought About The Tournament
This is one suspenseful Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament I watched from beginning to end.
It included fantastic gameplay for characters such as Minecraft’s Steve, King of Fighter’s Terry Bogard, and Super Mario’s Princess Peach.
Every competitor gave it their all and showcased high level play in this tournament. I watched each match and enjoyed it all.
Keep in mind the commentators use competitive Super Smash Bros. terminology that you may not understand.
With that said, this is a compelling competition to watch.

2) Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship 2024

What I Thought About The Tournament
I enjoyed the fast-paced Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship 2024 tournament due to each player’s precise racing, unpredictable moments created by using random items, and the moment-to-moment ranking changes.
It might be a bit difficult to follow what is happening given the fast-paced nature of the game, but the video does a good job of helping viewers stay focused.
Watch this if you like playing Mario Kart and want to see enthusiasts compete at high-levels.

3) The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom trailer is 5m 32s in length. The trailer is a narrative overview of the game, showcasing the game’s Still Realm and Zelda’s abilities (including a new Swordfighter Form).
What I Thought About The Trailer
Zelda’s new abilities look fun and I am happy to see classic, Link-inspired sword fighting is an ability Zelda can learn.
Also, I enjoy the game’s player freedom which allows for multiple ways to tackle everything from simple enemy encounters to boss fights.
Really, check out the trailer to watch Zelda take a nap during the boss fight.
That is just the best!

Emio’s two teaser trailers intrigued me to want to see what happened next.
Plus, I think the trailers made the game look fantastic.
I want to play this as a visual novel fan of games like the Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton series.
Thankfully, Emio is available now and also has a free demo players can try if you are still deciding whether the game is right for you.

What I Thought About The Trailer
I am very much looking forward to watching the documentary included in this Tetris celebratory title probably just as much (or even more so) than playing the included games.
As a lifelong Tetris fan, I am really excited for this collection’s release.

What I Thought About The Trailer
I never heard of Eternights before watching this trailer, but now I want this game.
The short video did a fantastic job of showcasing the dynamic combat and overarching story.
I am really looking forward to saving the world with my anime school buddies in Eternights.
There might be a little romance along the way, too.

Combat looked methodical, weighted, and each attack seemed to make a difference when facing off against heinous foes.
Plus, I really enjoyed the game’s rugged, scratched visual style.
This definitely has my attention.

My older sibling (a fighting game fanatic) introduced me to the Guilty Gear series during the PlayStation 2 era and I have been a casual fan of the series ever since.
I am glad Nintendo Switch Guilty Gear fans have a chance to play the series’ latest game.

16) Mario & Luigi: Brothership – Greetings From Concordia!

Mario & Luigi: Brothership’s trailer is 30s in length. The teaser trailer showcased the game’s new Super Mario themed game world, Concordia. The trailer also showed the game’s cartoon inspired visuals, silly humor, and brother exploration mechanics.
What I Thought About Mario & Luigi: Brothership Trailer
Mario & Luigi: Brothership’s Concordia world overview trailer looked great.
I think the setting is colorful and full of charm, which is to be expected from a Mario role playing game.
Also, I have always enjoyed cel shaded games–visuals that make a game look like an animated cartoon–ever since I saw Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and Sega’s Jet Set Radio implement this graphical style in early 2000s.
Which means I am very excited to see more of Mario & Luigi: Brothership with future game trailers.

17) Fall Guys – Scrapyard Stumble

Fall Guys Scrapyard Stumble’s trailer is 58s in length. The update trailer showcased the game’s new construction worker, scrap yard content. Cosmetics and new features were also shown, including destructible objects and object physics.
What I Thought About Fall Guys Scrapyard Stumble Trailer
It is always exciting to see Fall Guys get new updates, and this one has added big features for fans of the online party game.
Destructible environments will make gameplay even crazier while physics will help objects react and interact in a more natural manner.
So I expect tons of player levels to include “falling domino” sections just for the fun of watching blocks topple.
These additions will impact how everyone plays Fall Guys and I applaud the developers for pushing the game forward.
