Two Nintendo developed and published visual novel games are releasing on Nintendo Switch May 14th: Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir and the prequel Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind.

The Games
Both Famicom Detective Club games are remastered, modern ports of games released for the Famicom (the Japanese name for the Nintendo Entertainment System) nearly 30 years ago.
The animation and production values in these game are amazing and must be seen to be believed (watch the overview trailer below).
These titles are visual novels and focus on detective work such as searching environments for clues and talking to people in order to solve the mystery in each game.
Fans of the Phoenix Wright court room visual novels, and visual novel fans along with avid readers, will want to check out the Famicom Detective series.

The Overview Trailer
A new overview trailer for both Famicom Detective Club titles was posted on Nintendo’s YouTube channel on April 27th, 2021 going over story details and gameplay functions.

The Price
Each Famicom Detective Club game will retail for $34.99 USD and will be made available for digital download from the Nintendo Switch eShop on May 14th, 2021 (continue reading and find out how to save on both titles).
The games are currently opened to pre-orders.
A physical version of either title has not been announced at this time.
The Deal
Purchase either game and get $10 USD off your total purchase price. After purchasing the first game, the savings will be applied during the checkout process.
