What I Thought About The Trailer
The moment I watched Debut Project Cooking Cafe’s game trailer, I immediately thought of the Cooking Mama cooking simulation series.
Really, this game looks a lot like Cooking Mama from the mini-game centered recipe gameplay to the colorful visuals and upbeat music.
And that is fantastic as Cooking Mama is one of my, my spouse’s, and my best friend’s personal favorite series.
We all love it!
Seeing a modern take on a beloved classic series that also adds a customer ranking system, customer missions to complete, and cafe expansion customization is a yummy treat.
So for those reasons, I am really looking forward to playing Debut Project Cooking Cafe when it launches on Nintendo Switch and I hope you are, too.

Classic Carmen Sandiego video games and television shows were part of my weekly ritual as a kid, and I am happy to see a new interactive experience launching in 2025.

Watching the gameplay trailer makes controlling “The World’s Greatest Thief” look really enjoyable.
I particularly enjoyed the stealth mechanics (like sneaking up on suspects) along with the intel gathering and clue deciphering gameplay on display.
This 3D adventure game will finally answer the age old question, “Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?”. She’s on the Nintendo Switch, that is where.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed’s (TMNT:MU) new trailer made me a believer in this upcoming turtles game.
The carton painting art style has grown on me while the dynamic, action combat looked fluid and fun.
Additionally, I sensed “arcade” gameplay vibes while watching the trailer–arcade vibes that reminded me of classic action gameplay from TMNT games released during the 1980s and 90s of which I adore so much.
But just how many time have I beaten 1989’s Teenage Mutant Turtles: The Arcade Game or 1991’s Turtles in Time? I lost count.
And how long did it take me to beat 2022’s Shredder’s Revenge for the first time when it released? Less than twenty four hours.
Hey, I love being a turtle and playing these simple to pick-up-and-play action titles.
So as a huge fan of past and present TMNT games, I am looking forward to delving into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed when it arrives on Nintendo Switch. Cowabunga, as the turtles say!

This game combines the logic puzzles of Picross with the charming world of Rune Factory, known for its farming simulation and action dungeon exploration.
I am particularly excited about solving the wealth of Picross puzzles packed into this game, which feature easy-to-read grids and numbers going by the game trailer.
The idea of battling Rune Factory monsters by completing picture logic puzzles is a fantastic twist that excites me.
Plus, I like the animated anime Rune Factory characters in the background that add depth to a relatively simple puzzle game.
With that said, I am really looking forward to playing Piczle Cross Rune Factory and solving puzzles in the world of Rune Factory.
This game is a perfect blend of two of my favorite gaming experiences and I am so ready for it.

I am genuinely overjoyed about the upcoming release of Japanese Rail Sim: Hakone for the Nintendo Switch as someone who wants to visit Japan one day.
This game offers a unique virtual tour of Hakone, Japan. This allows interested players like myself (who may not have the opportunity to easily visit Japan in person) to explore its stunning landscapes.
What I find appealing is how the game prioritizes an immersive experience over traditional gameplay.
There looks to be moderate game interaction when it comes to operating the train (which looks challenging enough), but the main point of this title is to enjoy Hakone’s points of interest shown on screen.
This game does so by including real footage of Hakone’s beautiful surroundings such as views of the iconic Mt. Fuji, serene hot springs, cultural museums, aquariums, and more.
One highlight I am especially looking forward to seeing is the adorable seal at the aquarium–complete with a towel on its head–shown in the trailer.
So cute!
Japanese Rail Sim: Hakone looks to be a delightful virtual journey I am excited to play.
I just hope I am able to figure out how to operate the train without scaring passengers.

I never knew about Home Safety Hotline before watching this trailer, and now I really want to experience this odd, horror game.
The gameplay looks unique thanks to its premise which immediately hooked me.
The concept of becoming a phone operator tasked with navigating an old computer operating system to help people with natural and not so natural threats sounds fantastic.
I really like what I am seeing (but will I be brave enough to play it to the end, is the eternal question).
This game also has very positive reviews as it previously released on computers in early 2024. It is short but satisfying experience with an average playtime of about two to three compelling hours.
I am looking forward to Home Safety Hotline’s Nintendo Switch release in order to have a creepy, fun filled time.
